Signmark (sign language MC), Mark Vuoriheimo has been entertaining his friends for several years by translating song lyrics into sign language.

Always having felt the low end bass and kick drum frequencies in hip hop beats as well identifying with hip hop as a platform for expressing oneself, he was inspired to begin creating his own sign language rhymes in more of a hip hop aesthetic. Performing these rhymes in a hip hop documentary produced by friend Heka eventually led to forming the group in 2005.

The group consists of Heka (voice MC/producer) and Kim (DJ/producer). Together with a video production team, the group is working on a CD/DVD release which is due to be in stores in the summer of 2006
